You guys are blind if you don't think the Colts tanked that last game against us 2011 season.

This coming from the guy who said Henne should KY himself.... dude's probably not that lonely.. he has a wife you know.
Does it really make a difference which one starts?

They both lose, garbageman is just easier to watch than lame.

and I agree, clots let us win that game and we thought "We got a win!"

"We'll be better next year!"  Rolleyes

We were jobbed.

Quote:Did he also tell the coaching staff - "Hey guys, if we lose this game you're all gone next year and you'll have to hope you can find employment to support your families!"

In this day of news 24 hours a day you don't think this sort of conversation wouldn't have come out?

Teams may lose incentive, but they don't tank.
He wouldn't tell the coaching staff anything-their fate was already decided.

It doesn't have to be the whole team, just a few key players.

Chicago White Sox, 1919. If it can happen in the World Series, it could happen in an otherwise meaningless last game of the season.

Don't know if you have that game, but if you do rewatch it.
Quote:Some people will never understand that the coaches/players are performing for their livelyhood every week. They dont tank, because losing costs them their jobs more often than not. Many stupid posters here will continue with their conspiracy theories though.
They act like the draft order process is new or something.

The idea of getting the 1st pick of the draft by being the worst is nothing new. If tanking were an actual concern, every team under 8-8 would do it.

Did Irsay do it by text? From a grassy knoll?
Quote:Then Khan needs to step in and give the official order to play Gabbert to ensure that number one pick is ours.
Kahn won't play to lose, and neither will any other team in the league

When you have a team this bad, you don't have to play to lose.. It comes naturally..

LOL EXACTLY! No need to try, it just happens. No one likes to lose and no one loses intentionally...

They had a team meeting at Area 51 of course. Laughing

I'm not saying it happened and I didn't follow the team closely enough to have an opinion.  What I'm saying is that if you're insisting it would have been impossible for the final game, you're naive.
