Foley is no dumby. He sees what is on the horizon when the BCS is done. It's a new system. The BCS was played perfectly by Foley. He didn't have to schedule those games anymore. He didn't have to do home and homes with anyone. He only did the home and homes in conference. He was able to generate more money this way.
Why was he able? Because the conference supported what was necessary to still have a strong strength of schedule which is one of the factors of the BCS. There was no need to schedule OOC home and homes, and lose money in the process.
I've stated this ad nauseam for quite some time, but no one wants to hear it. Foley sees what the new system will do and will adjust accordingly.
Hopefully Foley sees that Muschamp will never build an elite program and gives him the axe. Sooner rather than later.

Quite possible. I think what saves him, if anything is to stop hamstringing Pease, which has to be occuring, because at Boise St. he was wide open and imaginative. Or...he fires Pease and brings a new one in.
Muschamp wants to be Alabama offensively. The personel is not there in the key spots right now to do that.

If they lose to UGa, South Carolina and FSU that will make two 6-6 seasons in three years for Muschamp. His record will be very Zookish.

Highly doubt the Gators ever play two regular season games here. I do think there is a good chance in the next few years that FSU could play a game here.
Sounds like it would most likely be in Atlanta for the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff game. I think Atlanta is suppose to have their new stadium that year, and this game would be played before the NFL season starts. Could Florida and Michigan be breaking in the new $1 Billion stadium??
