It's been previously said that this is the worse roster in the history of the NFL. I agree, but what is difficult to understand is the lack of fundamentals, both on offense and defense. The defense appears to have no idea concerning their assignments. The LB's seldom plug the gaps, even when they aren't blocked out. Our DB's look very confused about who they should be covering.
We have never been able to cover the short passes just over the line. This game is a perfect example of this, continious passing five yards with almost 100% completions. Add to this the stupid penalties and you have a complete disaster.
The offense speaks for itself. Even if Henne is our man for now we should be giving our backup QB some time. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get him ready if he's needed?
