I would be incredibly disappointed if we had to settle for a guy not even in the same tier as Teddy. It would be a huge punctuation on the joke this franchise has become.

I'm a Teddy fan, dude. But if we get Mariota, I can't honestly say that we got a bad pick. In my opinion, if Mariota can use his head, he could be better than Teddy.

Agree to disagree. Unlike most Mariota fans I have watched basically every single game of his for the past two seasons. Typical overrated high scoring spread offense QB.
I have a lot of the same concerns with him that I had with Gabbert.
For example, his number of passes past 5+ yards out have increased a lot over last season, and now he is barely passing over 60%.
