I've talked to some Chiefs fans that are already saying he's very, very bad.
I'm never one to judge a rookie after just 6 games but perhaps we dodged a bullet this time?
They need to give him a chance. He's just a rookie. If he's still struggling next year, I'd start getting worried if I was a Chiefs fan.
But still, don't know why they drafted him over Joeckel. We, indeed, lucked out there. Joeckel was the best player in the draft.
He's also adjusting from playing in CM to the NFL. If he's not showing improvements late this season and not living up by same point next year, then they can be concerned. But way too early to be judging him right now.
I always liked Joeckel more.
Have they moved him to LT yet?
Fischer was always described as less polished but with more potential. May just be growing pains.

Not surprised.
The situation reminds me a little of back in 2009, when the Rams took the "late riser" in Jason Smith over the steadier more proven Monroe. Now, while Monroe may not have ultimately turned out to be worth his draft spot, Jason Smith turned out to be a flat out bust.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Fisher also turn out to be a flat out bust. His rise late in the draft paralleled Jason Smith's situation.

Not to bring in a Teddy vs Mariota thing, but...
Has a lot of potential similarities.
