People suck. Just horrible that someone would do this.

yes it is. Flat out disgusting world we live in....smh....

Just awful.  Sad

Poor kid, no one deserves that.
These are the stories that I dont think you should have to wait for trial. Disgusting.
That's ridiculous. A grown man and a 2 year old. To what, tick off the girlfriend? This guy will get whatever the maximum sentence is for this crime in that state. no question.

Wow. On top of what discipline he gets, they should let AP at him. That way he knows how helpless that little boy felt.

Amen!  As a father, i can't imagine what AP is feeling right now.

I will never understand why people do crap like that. Nobody in the world deserves what Adrian Peterson's son got.
His son passed away.

Sad

What a tragic story

Wow, so sad.  After reading an article and seeing how many restraining orders he had against multiple women and kids, its a shame something wasnt done sooner.  You can only hope he is locked up for life so nobody else has to feel that pain from him.

Absolutely.     This is a definition of a senseless tragedy.

I agree with you totally if South Dakota doesn't have a Capital Punishment law.    If the latter exists,   measure for measure would be very appropriate.

Well, I don't think the guy was trying to kill him just because the kid died. Ususally getting beaten up does not kill the victim. So I would not want the death penalty for this one.

Adrian Peterson said he will play. Now he might want to change his mind.
I just saw a report on NFLN that the child died.

That is horrible. My heart goes out to AP.

I don't think it matters what he was trying to do.  He beat a two year old to death.  This wasn't an 'accident'.  He didn't accidentally beat the kid.  He used a weapon on a toddler.  IMO that's worthy of the death penalty.    Pretty sure because it's aggravated battery it's a felony, and therefore a felony murder, and therefore subject to first degree murder.  Though I'm not sure of the laws in South Dakota.

I don't know what SD laws are either, but I would guess second degree murder because the kid was beaten, not shot, and did not die on the spot.
