Serious question, is Bridgewater really only 196 lbs?  Isn't that a bit light for a QB?  That being said I like what he is doing.

lol damn that slide looked scary, didnt he see hoyer.

Usually when people talk about quarterbacks being too small, they only discuss their height. I never heard anyone say a quarterback is not heavy enough.

I was wrong. He was able to step up. Had to throw over a defender tho.
Gabbert would have thrown to that HB 5 yards down field or ran into a sack.
lol eli just threw an int. crap.

They are still listing his freshman weight for some reason, we will have his real weight at the combine

I'll take the latter

Why don't they show his junior weight?

No he is not still 196lbs.

they're gonna jinx this kid, i just know it

What you cant see there is him staring down the outside WR to make the outside corner delay his backpedal into his zone. He got his WR wide open, not the other way around.

Just curious if there is any concern that he can take an NFL hit consistently.  Brady Quinn, for example is listed as 235.  That's nearly 40 lbs more.  I think he is a great QB, but just was struck by how light he is.

So how heavy is he?

Ok, thanks!  Good to know

 214.65 Lbs.

I'd venture to say he's around 202 lbs, give or take a few pounds.

According to Teddy Bridgewater himself at the media event at the beginning of the season he is around 220.

Brady Quinn sucks. so obviously being heavy does not help him.

I can't worry about a player being at higher risk of injury if he is sacked after seeing a 325-pound left tackle get carted off the field.
