Because it's not like the coaches don't see them every day in practice.

the entire 2nd half of the schedule after the bye looks winnable (not that they'd win them all but any given one of them). 

 

The Bucs schedule looks 10x tougher. The Jags really need to be careful they don't slip up and win one or 2 before the Bucs do. 
 

The only decent chances we have are like the Browns (Solid defense and better offense) and the Bills (better offense and decent to good defense).

 

Bucs at least have a great defense going for them.

Isn't it possible they already know the answer?   I think what you want is for them to play the other two guys so you can see for yourself.   There's no point in doing that.

It's also possible that those guys are good enough to be here next year as role players and there's no point in getting them shelacked this year.
I think we'll see at least one of them before the year is over...hell, maybe fairly soon.
