The Jaguars get a lot of flak for having some empty seats. But did anyone see all the orange seats at the end of that game in Miami? That is a 3-1 football team down three with a minute to go and there were probably 15k empty seats. And it sounded like a ton of Baltimore fans there. There looked like a bunch of empty seats in StL today and in Arizona.
Oakland also reduced their capacity to 53,000 and failed to break 50k against the Jaguar. It's happening all around the league of course with the exception of teams with long term waiting lists.
Not empty seats but the Cowboys stadium looks/sounds to be half filled with Broncos fans.

That was awesome. I don't think it was half Broncos fans, but there sure were more visiting team fans than you would normally see at a Cowboys home game.

Related to what you mentioned, during the Lions- Packers telecast today, one of the announcers said that around 6,600 seats have been added to Lambeau Field. It didn't look like there was an empty seat in Green Bay. This was one of two regular season games each season that the former Packers season ticket holders at Milwaukee County Stadium can purchase.

It's amazing watching their games and the amount of turn out they have at their games. It just shows what tradition and a good team can do to a fan base. (Steelers as well)
OP is correct. There are empties all over, guess which one you hear about though.....The national media is so agenda driven, on almost every topic it's not even funny.
It is very frustrating to see the Jaguars singled out. At the Dolphins-Ravens game, there were easily 10k empty seats. And a good amount of the fans in the stadium were Ravens fans. If that were here, you'd probably see a PFT talk article about it. Especially if we were a 3-1 team playing against the defending champs.
Given the luxury of sitting in ones home watching multiple games on a huge TV, I think most people are coming to realize that their best gameday scenario is right in their own living room.

I disagree. Nothing beats sitting in the stadium watching your team play, and with the addition of those scoreboards next year...sitting at home wont come close.
The St.Louis dome looked half empty yesterday.

Keywords: next year. When I go to games now, it is hard to read the clock, TOL, down, and distance under the big video screen. I will have that problem again during the Bills game.

I will have to go back and rewatch the game, but there was one shot with about 8 fans and 4 empty seats. And only one kid was wearing anything Rams related, everyone else had on Hockey/ Baseball/ College gear.
I never understand people wearing clothes for different sports at football games. Show your support and wear teal on Sunday.

When I go to games now I hae no issues with any of that. It is better RIGHT NOW to go to a Jaguar game than watch it at home.
The casual fan has spoken.

I've been to at least 20 St. Louis Rams/Cardinal games and it's just a normal thing with them. They just show up in normal street clothes.
The game in St Louis was barren. Me and my GF had almost an entire row of 10th row back seats to ourselves.

cheap beer and no waiting line for the bathroom don't hurt the "experience" either.
I was in Cincinnati for the Patriots-Bengals Game Sunday and there were probably 10,000 Pats fans there. It's hard to judge a number but there were a lot. There were also a fair amount of empty seats but I would attribute that to the forecasted monsoon which didn't hit until late game.
