Scumbag MJD is good and gave/gives his all so he needs to go!

Wow dude, you are not bright. A guy that was drafted in the 2nd round which is our second best rusher behind Fred Taylor is the reason why this franchise has suffered. You are just trolling at this point and talking out your rear.

Honestly, this team has suffered because of the rash judgment of certain players.  Garrard's playoff season comes to mind.  Mike Thomas.  Marcedes Lewis.  All overpaid for short-term good performance.

Between 2004 and 2011 we drafted 0 QB's.  One of the few teams to do so.  Leftwich got too much time, despite not being the answer.  We had nobody waiting in the wings to take over at QB.  Nobody to groom.  Really, not even a competent backup.

It was a disaster waiting to happen.  Compounded by bad drafting.  Trading future picks for now picks.  Reaching on players like Alualu.  Overdrafting a punter.

The team seems to have valued the QB position very little.  But I don't think it's because we had MJD.  I think it's because we looked better than we were.  We didn't beat teams -- they beat themselves for us.

Quote:MJD has given us a couple of pro bowl years and 1000 yard seasons as well as a rushing title. There is no doubt he has given this franchise and city his best effort. However, I think MJD's stardom and hype has done more negative to this franchise than many understand.

His first year starting, Jack Del Rio at the time decided halfway through the season that running the damn ball 20+ times even on 3rd down was the right thing to do. At that time, We had Fred Taylor as well. The tandom wrecked face until he was cut. Ever since, Every single coach that has passed through here has leaned on MJD almost to the point of avoiding the passing game at all.

I am of the belief that in the last 5-6 years, This league has been transformed into a passing league and as such you CANNOT win a superbowl with a potent passing attack. Even the steelers won the superbowl by passing. Yet, Our recent coaches think MJD could change that fact. HE cant. No back can. A potent passing attack isn't born by adding a better QB or better WR's. Its born and developed by using it. Its like a muscle. The more you use it, The better it becomes.

Overall, MJD needs to go. He's been exciting to watch but coaches have been leaning on him way too much. Its time to lean on the passing game. WITH OR WITHOUT a good QB. Thankfully it seems Fisch and Bradely are taking the passing game more serious. I think itll improve bigtime as we go forward.
There is some truth to this, plus they had linemen who excelled in run blocking but struggled in pass blocking. Now they struggle in both.
Quote:Does this mean we dont need to draft Teddy? Just exercise our Blaine muscle some more?

I've heard that women who do their Blaine excercises are great in the sack.

Now I still hold out hope for Blaine... but...... that's funny right there.
