After 3 years it's over for Strong. Wonder what is next for him?
Houston's Head Coach will be the new coach for Texas.
They stole the Houston coach right out from under LSU.
I hope Charlie bounces back somewhere decent, I never felt he was a good fit at Texas.

Not surprised that LSU was stuck with coach Oregano. Their AD is an idiot. Look at what he did with the UF game this year.
Jimbo needs to jump on hiring Strong as DC ASAP.

Strong was a god as DC at Florida.
So D'onta Foreman will probably go pro now?

Or return with Tom Herman and that line and be a first rounder.

No question.

Lost to Kansas for the 1st time since 1938. I'd have to say he'd be a good fit here.

There are several reports on the internet that Foreman has indeed decided to turn pro after meeting with Herman. Hopefully he'll be a Jag in 2017. :woot:
Any rumors out there about Charlie strong's future that anyone has seen on twitter or anything?
He will land a job as DC...in college
He seemed pretty bitter about the firing too

Nobody wants to be fired, even if he knows it is the right decision for his team.

I don't see how he could be. You can't go into a job like Texas with your eyes closed. They want wins and they want them early and often and numerous. If you don't win, you aren't staying around. In three seasons he left the program with the worst winning percentage of any coach. You ain't gonna stick around there with that kind of reputation, despite wanting to "develop young men".
