The Clear solution to this Mr. Goodell is to give the Jaguars two picks in a row in the first round. A pick before the first pick, and then the first pick. London will love to watch Clowney and Bridgewater. Trust us!
That way when we play one game in London for the next few years, we won't be an embarrassment to the league.

The article makes a strong prediction on how it might turn out for us... Whoever goes there has to have an American base of operations for the preseason and most of the roster decisions during the year. I wonder where that location could end up being?
Sure looks like our rebuild will line up with the current contract ending and us ending up with 3 to 4 games in London on renewal. Looking like a gradual move overseas instead of a straight moving truck thing.

Read yesterday that the players Union could vote against a team moving to London and probably would.
It is truly a joke. There were people at the MIN/PIT game wearing jerseys of all NFL teams. It will never work. Nobody over there cares.

Maybe the OP should spend more time learning the difference between "don't" and "doesn't".

Ohhhh, I like this idea.

Actually the easy solution is move the Pro Bowl there.

This is actually a very very good idea. We obviously hate the pro bowl here in the states. Over there? They prob don't know the difference. Good idea.

That is a solid solution. Since nobody really cares about it, it could be a huge deal over there.
They probably wouldn't be too happy getting the "8th alternate" David Garrard types, but for the most part, it could work.

I've hated the idea of a full time team in London since it was introduced.
The players don't want it, and it would be a logistical nightmare.

By the time it happens, they will be wearing leather helmets and pulling flags instead of tackling.

Actually thats not the "easy solution" when the NFL Commissioner is hell-bent on getting a full time team over there.
You think he's just gonna say "welp, hey! good idea, I'll just settle for the PB being in London and scrap what I have been trying to get for years"....

If Mr. Khan starts feeling his efforts to help the league try to expand are being discredited in any fashion he will yank this London deal off the table. The Jags have invested in this thing and if he feels slighted he will end it. You can bank on that.

Ive been saying this to anyone who will listen who thinks the Jags or any existing team to London would work. Although this is not to say someone wont be stupid enough.
The only way a UK team would work is if it is an expansion team, because they dont want someones leftovers AND if there is a big programme of developing British players and British grassroots football in the in general.
The is the only thing that would get enough people to change their aligences (even if they are based on something as spurious as 'liking tigers') long term is seeing a British team, based in Britain full time with a good number of British players, otherwise its a money making gimick, its very easy to see through and it would be dead within 10 years.

I equate it to the EPL in the United States. The EPL gets solid ratings on NBC. I know alot of people that like to watch the EPL. If the EPL had one match a year in New York, DC, Miami or any dozens of other US cities, it would sell well. That doesn't mean that an EPL team would work if they were based here. And how would the EPL fans in England feel if the US took one of their teams. And even if it was an expansion team, it would be viewed as a gimmick. Which is how a London based NFL team would be viewed.

The headline sucked, but the article was actually well thought out, researched and written.

O really.... Im missing a home game anyway because of London.
