I like to explore all avenues.

By all means, if Bridgewater really is that good, take him. But is he that good or are we propping him up because of his position? Honest question here. Is he so good that passing on a once in a decade prospect at a premium position is the only option?

Is it possible to trade up into the late to mid first are grab a franchise QB?

Is there a veteran QB (like Alex Smith this past offseason) who could provide a good option for the next few seasons?

Not to hijack but here's a question I'm wondering...

How many QBs were selected 1st overall and how many were successful vs QBs taken 2nd overall, 3rd overall etc.
Can't only be addressed that way.  But a stop-gap guy (like Alex Smith) isn't the best answer.

Teddy isn't Geno Smith here, whom was propped up because of his position.  Teddy looks to be the real deal.  I'd recommend actually watching him play.

Also trading up is an iffy situation.  You want to avoid doing it while rebuilding.
