I remember 2 seasons ago, Darren McFadden had for him what was considered a breakout season. He was getting good holes opening up and hitting them for solid gains.

Unfortunately for him, the Raiders changed coaches the next season and also changed OC's and brought in "Garbage Greg Knapp" to be their OC. He had pretty much failed everywhere as an OC in the NFL in his previous stops and like the Jags current crew, he believed in installing a zone blocking scheme.

Well the rest was history as McFadden and the Raiders wound up having a very hard time running the football with Knapp and the ZBS....probably because McFadden simply wasn't a great fit for it - they shouldn't have changed what was already working the previous year.

Well fast forward to this season, McFadden seemed to be straightening his act out again (prior to latest injury) with their new regime going back to what was successful for McFadden before.

In regards to the Jags, how much of their running the ball issues do you think can be blamed on the ZBS??

Last game ran power o way more than zone plays, still got stuffed. When 2 of the lineman are getting pushed back 2 yards right off the snap theres not much you can do.
