i think so Freeman can make all the throws and can open the run game for MOJO more and thats all the Jags need in order to win games

He's better than Henne/Gabbert at this point, but he's no long term solution.  I can't see it happening.

Lemme guess...you're a Colt/ Titans/ Texans fan and you're starting to get scared that we might get Teddy Bridgewater and own the division soon, huh?...
no been a Jag fan since i was 8 years old if this guy ur talking about is nothing lik blaine gabbert then thats fine i just think freeman could help out alot maybe even push into the playoff hunt next year

he can be our backup next year for cheap otherwise no.

well we probley could get him for cheap but he's QB1 kind of guy hes got a big arm and can move if you look at his games its not his fault his comp% sucks its cause the WRs dont play for him always off the finger tips

A lot of guys have big arms and can move Freeman ain't special.

so u think a rookie QB that could be a bust like gabbert would be better then him there is more QBs that are a bust at the no.1 overall picks then there is stars

Freeman was a 1st round pick in 09 and now he's been benched for a rookie when he should be entering his prime.

I'd rather gamble on a guy that at least has the chance to be a top QB in the league than take a guy that has proven to be mediocre like Freeman.
Only if he can get over his coke habbit.

I don't understand the fascination with acquiring mediocre/below avg QBs all in a quest to win more games in a non-playoff year. What's the point? Tank for Teddy!
Seriously what is with the Freeman hype? Have you watched him this year? I know it's desperate times but good grief you people have horrible logic.

these people aren't Jags fans that are posting this stuff about acquiring these mediocre QB....they are fans of other AFCS teams disguised as Jags fans trying to drum up support for stiffs like Freeman because they are scared we might get the number one pick otherwise, and we'll use it on Teddy and then we'll own the division for years.

Ehhh, hold your horses there. There is far more wrong with our team than a QB, and no draft pick is surefire.
He is def better than what we have.  I wouldnt give up anything for him though.  Maybe they would do Henne for Freeman.  Still need to draft are qb of the future this year (crosses fingers for Manziel)

No, we shouldn't.

But it is amusing to watch the Bucs' continued self-imolation.  Be thankful Jax is not disfunctional like they are.
