I'm expanding the language, you climate zealots are the ones making things up.

Just to be clear, science (not all science, just climate science, mind you) is a religion because politicians say so.

And you believe that.

It'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Ok it's still pretty funny.
Guess they won't be drilling in the Artic now.

Not US companies, but other nations on the Arctic Ocean will still drill.

Further proof that Obama and the Dems hate America first.

Received knowledge based on human interpretation of disputable facts distributed by clerics who accomplish great personal gain from sacrifice by the laity to an unseen diety to satiate eternal damnation.

Yep, just as zealous as any Al-Q suicide bomber.

Ok, got it. (Facts are indisputable by definition, FYI.)

But of course you are right. The religion of republicanism is the only true religion. Afterall, why listen to anyone when you can be subjugated by an onslaught of propaganda designed to maintain the current power structure? I know that's how I want to spend my time on earth.

Lol trump is gonna have to build two walls now

Who are they to tell us Trump's political ideology when our own media can't even get it right? All of this fear-mongering is the left's way to demonize their opponents.
The left, aka people who prefer to listen to experts.

It's amazing that most these people who seem to think they are smarter than experts also follow old books that have a lot of proven nonsense without question...

I'm not a Republican. And the climastrologers are the one playing doomsday for power. The whole of AGCC is nothing more than the newest religious attempt to control mankind. And just like all the rest the leaders of the movement are just [BLEEP] looking to advance themselves with bull [BLEEP] claims that the world is in their hands. Horse [BLEEP].

Scientists are experts on politics or is it because they're scientists that they automatically know where they're talking about? You can't just say that any opinion they have of anything remotely included in their speciality means they know what they're talking about. This is politics, not science.

Maybe you haven't seen the opinion of 31,000+ scientists?

Not to mention scientists, again are not perfect. They're human. Some may say "well scientists can be wrong but the scientific method never is". Well the scientific method is a product of and is inevitably influenced by the human mind and therefore bias and imperfection can easily corrupt the method.

I think the bigger problem in this case is that Climate Scientists don't apply the scientific method.
Imagine what would have happened to Einstein's General Relativity had astronomers not found a bending of light rays near the sun.

The lack of a tropical upper tropospheric hot spot should have ended the alarmist talk and forced a major change in the theory hypothesis. Instead it's just ignored, while the "scientists" seek supporting evidence and ignore conflicting evidence. That's the way a religion operates, not science.

No, the problem is the rightwingers (republican or not) are so caught up in their ideology that their very identity comes under attack whenever one of their beliefs are disproven.

It's super crazy!

You misspelled Climate Zealots. You know, kinda like how you absolutely have to post in this thread all the time to try to get us to believe your fiction while we just sit here and make fun of you? All the while your beliefs are continually disproven by reality? Yeah, exactly like that.

You've blinded the blind with science.

Close minded leftists reject all evidence that destroys their narrative.  Politics is their religion, and they are at holy war against the truth that rebuts their false "reality."

The honest scientists know this is being oversold and lied about by scientists who profit and are politically manipulated to advance a dishonest political agenda.  They refuse to be coerced by those who use politics to ensure a narrative that isn't represented with the facts, through the threat of termination of employment and/or research funding.

The junk science is fueled by grant money that will dry up if the desired narrative is not supported.  That's why it's junk science, and not truth or reflective of reality at all.

Truth and reality are remarkably different from what some are attempting to sell the unwitting public.

What about all the other countries reporting the same? Or did NASA pay them off?

Really are desperate to uncover a conspiracy here, why am I not surprised. Must import a tin foil hat. Could be one of your largest exports.

That's a strawman argument. It's the Left who claims the criticism is about a conspiracy. It doesn't take a conspiracy for people to work in their own self interest.

Interesting that you didn't mention his point about NASA or other countries who don't share our politics.

They all agree climate change is real and happening and caused by humans.

In order for what you are saying to be true, there necessarily has to be a conspiracy.

And NASA has to be in on it.

So to preserve your sense of self, it is easier for you to believe in a massive conspiracy than it is to believe in the scientific method.

It's all very interesting on a psychological level. But still super crazy!

And, Malabar, why do you keep trotting out the 31, 000 "scientists" online petition? That's cringeworthy. Have some self respect, man.

The heart of the matter: the lefties believe the climate zealots are altruistic in nature, they forget that they are also human.
