Jags will probably keep this one close. I thought that might have happened last week, but I don't see Indy as talented as Seattle with the exception of the one position...which they are better. (A Luck)
Maybe Slo-MoJo can get untracked this week to the tune of 50 yards or so and break the 3.0 YPC elusive barrier.
I don't see us beating indy. They just beat one of the best teams in the league.
Had MJD ever had less than 100 yards against Indy?
8.5 or 9 points seems like a lot to me. Lets not forget the Colts will be on the road for the second consecutive week. They were at SF and now will be at Jacksonville. That is quite a road trip back-2-back. Plus it was a huge emotional win last week. I said in the AFC South forum I thought the final score would be 20-10. Now I am thinking more 20-13. I don't see a blowout at all. The Jaguars and Colts often play close games regardless of record.
The 49ers were 10 point favorites last week against the Colts. And they lost by 20.
I bet we play better but I'd have a hard time believing we win anything this season except 1st overall pick.
May not be enough. Seriously, what has this Jaguars team shown that leads anyone to think we keep this game within 10 points. For crying out loud, we lost to the Raiders by 10. Until we actually look like we can score points, I wouldn't think we keep it within 10 against anyone.
This might be the first game of the season the Jags don't lose by 10 points or more...
This week's gameplan to beat the clots:
Hand the ball off until the RBs throw up.
Throw a quick slant to CS3 and let him do his magic.
Get Scobee within 59 yards for field goal range.
Start Jeremy Mincey at DE.

I hope you're right. It's getting tough to watch these games. I'd say that it's good we're playing at home, but the last 2 years have shown that we are better on the road. I don't know what it is, but we always play INDY well on the road. Maybe we can wear the white uni's to simulate a road game.

SF? How? They have no offensive weapons at WR. Teams have figured CK out. Gore is vastly under utilized. The D isn't what it has been. They were in a dog fight in the only game they won, GB at home, and turns out GB ain;t the team everyone thought they were.

You mean the defending NFC champions who just happened to get Anquan Boldin?
COLTS BEAT THE SPREAD IN THE FIRST 9 MINUTES.... THEN THE ROUTE IS ON

Rivalry games can be the great equalizer in the NFL. There have been years that these two teams have been equally matched in talent (2007...both playoff teams) and we got blown out at home (29-7). There have also been years when the talent is lopsided towards one team and the scores were much closer (2003...28-23 Colts). Now, granted, I'm not sure this team can win a game (except maybe Cleveland), but there is a realistic chance that if our defense can shut Andrew Luck down that we can be competitive.
Probably not...but ya gotta believe.
Did you guys watch the last time we played IND at home? We got housed.
Hello Jag fans, keep your head up, it's always darkest before the dawn. MJD has had a career against my beloved Colts and Gabbert has not been terrible vs our new D. Good luck, hopefully it will be a close game with the Colts pulling away in the 4th.
27-13 Colts

Gabbert has been pretty awful against you guys.

He made a game winning play at the Luke, in J-ville he was kind of bad or was that Henne last year?
