The only caveat is you have to hire G-Brad as the HC.

I would of tried to get more interior lineman instead of drafting so many corners.  Not making excuses for gabs and henne but that interior line gets no surge in the running game, and creates pass rushing lanes every game

I don't want it to be like beating the same drum again I'm just answering the thread question. I would've kept the old and broken secondary that did a decent job last year and focused the draft on help at the Oline and Front 7.

I would have signed Daryl Smith.

 

I would have targeted one of the free agent RT's.

 

I would have signed someone (don't know who) to compete with Rackley at guard.

 

I don't mind what they did with the secondary.  Mathis wasn't getting the job done and at the end of his career.  I'd prefer to groom someone at his position.  I'd rather have Gratz (when healthy) over Mathis.  As far as Cox goes, I could go either way.  I understand why they didn't keep him and also understand why people make the argument that we should have kept him.

Why is that a caveat?  Hiring the HC is part of the GM job.  I also need to know if Shad set a budget on the Coaches !!!

Because G-Brad isn't the problem.

I can see him successful as long as he can get capable players to work with.
