1)Gabbert

2)Branch

3)Alualu

4) Ebben "sack-a-game"  Britton Wallbash

In that order. Some are going to disagree with me, but Branch is far bigger bust that Alualu. Tyson, while a majoooooooor reach in the fist round, actually played pretty good his roockie year. While Jags didnt get their money worth with him .....statistically, according to pro football focus, he was one of the better roockie DTs that year. Branch on the other hand is just an absolute nobody out there.  Plain scrub.......a practice squad material. No way worth taking in the second round.....but Genuis Smith thought otherwise Wallbash Wallbash Wallbash
Quote:The question is who is the biggest bust not the biggest reach

The FACT that Gabbs was expected to go high and has underperformed gets the bust label more than a reach for Alualu who has underperformed for his slot but not for his projection, IMO.
Obviously his biggest bust is Gabbert.  It's not even close.  Alualu has at least been decent and could have been taken 5 picks later for all we knew.

Quote:Don Carey.

In all seriousness, I'd say Gabbert unless a miracle happens.
We stole Don Carey. Stole him.

It has to be Gabbert but I, too, will reserve judgement until the end of the season. Eben Britton busted, too, but he was injured...I liked the idea of bookend tackles in that draft and thought it was a good pick.

Alualu has been average, hasn't played to his draft position but IMO doesn't reach bust level.

Gabbert sews it up this year...would you trade him for Ryan Kerrigan and a #2? Throw in Don Carey too.
The whole idea of selecting Alualu where we did was awful.

We skipped on Earl Thomas for him, even when Safety was a dire need.
