Which QB would you want (wish) to start in week 5 depending on the outcome of this week's game;
Blaine Gabbert 53.4% cmp, 3997yds, 5.51 yds per, 21tds, 19int, 9fum, 68.3 rating
(3 years - 26gmplyed)
Chad Henne 59% cmp, 9,710yds, 6.67 yds per, 43tds, 50 int, 4 fum 74.6 raing
(6 yrs - 49 gm played)
Ricky Stanzi no NFL stats available
Tim Tebow 47.9% cmp, 2,422 yds, 6.71 yds per carry, 17td, 9int, 7 fumble, 33.4 qbr, 75.3 rating
(3 years - 35 games played)
Vince Young 57.9% cmp, 8964 yds, 6.87 yds per thro, 46 tds, 51 int, 19 fum, 58.1 qbr 74.4 rating
Jeff Garcia 61.6%cmp, 25,537yds, 6.95yds per throw, 161tds, 83int, 31 fumbles, 87.5 rating
(11 years, 125 games played)
-----------------------------------------
Keep in mind in the above stats it doesnt show the qbs ability to run or avoid sacks, or to motivate players to win games (leadership ability).
None of the above are a long term solution (in my opinion) for starting QB for the Jaguars for many of years (maybe I am wrong). That being said if the season is really over (no chance of playoffs in many of the minds of the fans) why not put in the most entertaining guy until the draft?
