I'm sure I could - but don't care enough to go on a scavenger hunt to go find them
...I remember vividly reading them on here around the time of the holdout (or shortly after), and there were backing articles at the time as well.
If you would like to pretend that they didn't exist, be my guest.
Quote:yet another red herring from someone who cannot argue specifically on the discussion of Mojo at hand...
Typical.
Sorry. Joined the thread late. But just in time to see you lobbing insults at people who have actually been inside Everbank Field. Just like the old days.

Quote:I had both Charles and Rice listed as players in my Jags mock draft hopefuls in posts and on my sig years ago. Anyone who paid attention and was on the board at that time saw it. I don't have to prove anything to someone who's either at best ignorant, or at worst a bold faced liar.
Right, because you would have advocated us to pick up two RBs in back to back rounds. Bzzzttt!!
I do remember your mancrush on Mallett.
Expecting you to back up your claims doesn't make me a bold faced liar. Having nothing to back up your claim though does make you one.

Google is amazing. It shouldn't be hard to find if they actually exist. Here is step one:
google.com
Maurice is obviously no where near as quick or as fast as he was in his first 4 years in the league. But if none of you noticed after his microfracture surgery he became more of a power back than a speed back.
He is playing with the 2 of the worst interior lineman in the league according to PFF. You have to be very quick and elusiveness to overcome that, and MJD the last 2 years hasnt been that type of player.
Hes hasnt fell off a cliff like you are suggesting TMD. There are only a few RBs in this league who could overcome inside penetration on almost every single run play.

sigh....1200 miles away... geographically unavailable

Charles was 2007, Rice was 2008, IIRC....

He hasn't fallen totally off the cliff, ........yet....
just approaching it faster than the Coyote in the old road runner cartoons....
Todman has the same OL/ FB :whistling:

Both 2008.
You can't even keep your lies straight.

Maybe if you keep saying that the trade rumor was "made up", it will help you believe that... I remember what I heard/ read on this board during the MoJo holdout... articles pertaining to trade offers of 2nd rounders.
I said earlier that I agree that MJD is done here, and he is no longer what he used to be.
Def fan boy material.
Anyway, so im supposed to accept what you say as fact because you " remember what I heard/ read on this board during the MoJo holdout...", but I am the one that's mistaken because Im going off of what was actually said?
Quote:Stick a fork in him.
He's slow/ sluggish has zero burst anymore and is a shred of his former self.
Just as I predicted 3 years ago (when the knuckleheads of this board were predicting he'd wind up the better Jags all time RB than Fred Taylor), he would decline before 30. The style of RB he was caught up to him, as expected with the early demise.
This post has all the classic elements of a TMD thread.
First, insulting a current member of the Jacksonville Jaguars
Second, the trademark meaningless chest thumping
Third, the needless name calling of posters on this message board.

He lost his quickness and long speed 2 years ago, and we all complained about it then. Did you forget about that already?

Todman has a whopping 8 carries for 14 yards. Whats your point?

If you weren't so lazy, maybe you wouldn't keep running head on into your lies.

and lastly everything said in TMD's post was true/ correct.
Lets not leave that small detail out.
Also calling out a sect of the message board as knuckleheads isn't "name calling". An example of name calling would be "Shack Del Rio is stupid". ...and thats not what was said or the context it was used.

Do you even know what the term "knucklehead" means? Or is this some sort of irony?
Quote:Todman has a whopping 8 carries for 14 yards. Whats your point?
As said before, all it takes is a good pair of functioning eyes to see that Drew is slow/ sluggish, even in the open field anymore, and that Todman easily is the quicker back with more burst. Mojo has zero burst anymore. Todman showed burst on the TD run.
Quote:Do you even know what the term "knucklehead" means? Or is this some sort of irony?
Yep, sure do. Again,....calling out an anonymous sect of the message board as knuckleheads based on group poor football knowledge via ongoing comments made in threads, is not the same as directly calling a specific poster "stupid". One is an example of name calling, the other is not.

Ok. Todman has done nothing. I like him and think he has a lot of burst as well, but if he didn't have that 2 yard TD run, you wouldn't be talking about him.
Just name the team that offered us the 2nd rounder.
Name them.
And all RBs will go into decline. In a young man's game, it's a particularly young position. Every team in the league knows that, which is why we were never offered a 2nd round pick for MJD after his rushing title.
I'm going to repeat that: We were never offered a 2nd round pick for MJD.
The spent "no one ever listens to me" argument is particularly tired.

You're wrong again.

IIRC, one of the teams interested was Tampa Bay and allegedly they were indeed willing to part with a 2nd rounder.
