That's what drives me somewhat crazy - Apple knows "we'll get used to it" - even if we don't like it.

 

I think Apple has finally taken this "they'll put up with anything because we're still perceived to be cooler than all the rest" to the limit.

 

We've moved beyond cool, I think. A smartphone is getting to be like a microwave oven - incredible when you think about it, but still only an appliance.

Yeah...I'm wondering what direction they're going to go in with out Jobs. I'm betting in a direction that wouldn't have made him happy in the least!!

According to those that worked with him, nothing made Jobs happy.  He is a false deity that applets have been worshiping for decades.

 

That being said, I'm sure Apple can come up with another novel rectangular device with a circle or square on it.  Just a matter of time.  And their followers will all fall over themselves to get the first one.
