Wasn't the national media clearing a space for his bust in Canton?
He looks like Gabbert in the last two games, and not the good clutch Gabbert who shows up every 5th game, I mean the terrible can't even pass for more than 150 yards Gabbert.
The Colts aren't so good on defense that there is an excuse for him this week.
Defenses have figured out his footwork tendencies so far. They have made him become a pocket passer, and it's obvious he still has to develop how he goes through his progressions.
I don't know if losing Walker and Crabtree hurt the niners to a degree, it's still a long season.
He needs to play Green Bay every week
Going off of what Cossell said. He struggled when asked to make multiple reads. Niners had been doing a good job giving him defined reads. First read is being taken away.
I didn't see the game this week but, it seems that happened again.
it doesn't help he only had boldin who can't get any separation. the rule about read option qbs got to his head lol
Wait a minute. So I wasn't completely wrong about Kaepernick (this week)?

You mean the same guy who bailed out Flacco game after game in the playoffs and superbowl with circus catch after circus catch. He is basically responsible for that contract Flacco got and should be getting half of it.

AKA-Jump Ball Joe
I compared him to Luck in QB value ---- i'm now beginning to wonder.....
Let me put it this way: Vince Young was once rookie of the year.

THIS!!!!!!
People are to quick to anoint someone a stud....and to write someone off as a dud.
That being said there is not telling how anyone will turn out after a season or two. That's why I like to give at least a 3 year window for most players. If they can pretty much do the same thing for 3 years straight, then thats pretty much what they will be.

lol smh

This.. Im a big Kaep fan but he still has to learn to play QB from the pocket. Have he even played 20 games yet?
Pocket Passers win superbowls.
Gimmicky running QB's get paid to be exciting then get hurt.
Give me the pocket passer every time.

Kaepernick has no weapons at wideout, and Harbaugh is vastly under using Gore.

Did Vernon Davis and Anquan Bolden get injured?
I know Davis is a TE and not a WR, but I'm pretty sure he's actually a better passing game threat than anyone the Jaguars have been trotting out since the season started.

Vernon Davis didn't play in yesterday’s game and Anquan Boldin isn't creating much separation at this point in his career. The only reason Boldin had a huge game against the Packers is because they inexplicably played him 8-10 yards off the line of scrimmage, that feeds right into his strengths. Either way, Kaep isn't a finished product and the 49ers need to run the ball more to help out their young QB.

It's interesting how when it's Kaepernick throwing 3 picks and 130 yards in his third season it's that the team around him that went to the Superbowl and made Alex Smith look good is bad, but when it's Gabbert struggling on a much lesser roster that went 2-14 last year it's him that's bad.

I knew you would turn this into a Gabbert debate, I never mentioned Gabbert. I was replying to your question, you are indeed a strange person.
