So many morons on this thread.. Hey "I want it now" generation xy shut THE HELL UP!   Get a clue.  All you saying the coaching sucks are dumb as a bad of nail clippings.  It takes time. I was going to write a long detailed post on why but I doubt you pea brains would understand so it's pointless.

I know I call people true fans on here but insulting people like that is a great way to get your point across. Well done.

What fan does not make a mistake. We all are off a time or two.

You do have terrible opinions so you kind of deserve it.

I do disagree. Their start time began once they took over and began evaluating the roster. They will have top 4 pick the next few years so what they do with them will determine there success. I cant say that I'm impressed yet but I do understand they really came to a team that was void of talent. But they will get the same 4 year time table the previous regime got.

 

Their are no loose end. This is all them. They passed on 2 qbs already. So I have to assume that they see something better coming down the road later.

Bengals didn't have a GM (still don't, I think). After Paul Brown passed away,, their drafting was horrendous for about a decade (approx '92-'02). But,, in the last ten years, it could be argued that they have been at the top of the league in their drafting (personnel and positioning).


So,, Gene Smith got "out-GM'ed" by a team that doesn't even have one,,, LOL

Well perhaps but my opinions don't leave me dejected because I knew what is transpiring right now with the team would happen. I'm as calm as can be while you weep every Sunday hoping you see something different.

Shack Harris is undoubtedly the biggest reason we are where we are. Only 1 of his first round picks are with this team any longer, and only  one other is still in the NFL. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.

 

Harris was given 6 drafts, and Gene Smith was given 4. At least Gene only has 1 absolute bust(Gabbert, and still has a change to turn it around) with his 1st round picks. Alualu hasn't live up to his draft position, but he's still a better player than any of Shack's first rounders, minus Lewis.

Not saying Joke is a bust. Saying we could have benefited from drafting a skills player at #2 instead of a lineman.
