Quote:Did you ever play in the pros?
Yes. Not football, though. But losing a tough battle in a physical game is tough. High School, College or Pro. I find no humor in it. Doesn't matter on what level.
Quote:And you have the answer in your own post. College. College and NFL are two completely different things.
Oh. Its not ok in college, but its all good in the pros. Gotcha.
Those two guys having a moment of levity on the sidelines doesn't bother me a bit. The game was over 45 minutes prior to that moment. Forsett hardly saw the field and MJD would have needed an absolute miracle to even sniff 100 yards running behind that line. It's OK for them to have a laugh.
People presuming to know what they were talking about..... LOL.
Garrard did this a few years ago I believe....took some heat for it as well. Guess there's a few ways for fans to take it.
Seems like a lot of the fans in his case anyway, take it as a casual attitude and a lack of commitment to the team.
You expect to see the smiling and joking on the winning side not the losing side.
My thoughts are people show frustration different ways and I fully understand that some wil laugh to keep from crying and some will just cry.
Heck he may have been joking about how blew into the end zone with that "poof" hand motion. At least he managed to
get in the end zone against one of the best defenses in the nFL.
Lighten up fans, it is a game you know. I want to seem them win as much as anyone, just not going to get indigestion over it.
In fact I think its funny we did better than the vaunted 49's.,,,and our poor, still breaking down or rebuilding team depending who you talk to, is in the same boat as far more developed teams that already have their "franchise quarterbacks" from RG3 to Ponder to eli manning to roethlisberger.
I think we came up alittle on D...the change in the offense to gabber has me worried this weekend. The guys are starting to settle some on henne (bad as he is) and changing again is bound to disrupt. But hey! if the browns can do it.....by golly we can hOPE!
Go JAGS!
Tebow wouldn't laugh and neither would I but hey, we hate losing! Hate it!!

Nice. Totally agree. It is a perception thing. Something I cannot relate to, but it isn't going to make this a better or worse team. Funny though, when MJD was a hold out, he was on the run out of town list by many. Some of the same, now defend him. Guess fickle comes to mind; and to a degree, all of us are guilty.
At least we are in rebuild mode..the 49ers and perhaps the Eagle fans are squirming.
Hard to take when our nemesis for all the years under Manning, have one bad season and "Luck "out.

I don't know the answer. But it isn't uncommon to see players on NFL teams smiling when they are losing. We see it all the time. So yeah, it is different. They are making millions of dollars playing a game. Win or lose, life is good. What I am saying is you don't know what it is like as a pro. You know what it is like in college. Two completely different things.

Go back one step in the menu and select "College Football"

Uh......why?
Quote:Uh......why?
Because you are comparing college players to pro players. It isn't the same.

Where did I compare college to pro? What are you, NYC's spokesman? Watch the vIdeo, all pros!

You're absolutely right, and you know why? Because neither of you are on an NFL sideline.

Wrong answer sport! Correct answer.....we're both winners!

I'm sure your parents beam with pride seeing the employee of the month picture at Jiffy Lube.
Tim's got a lot of free time. Maybe you can change his oil and you can both scowl angrily.
When your team is bad people look for anything to have an issue with.. .....case in point

Is that your bike? The only people I ever see riding those are big fat slobs. Am I right.

If the great teblowney rode it, you would call it a "chariot of the god."
Did somebody actually make the speculative argument that Tebow wouldn't laugh when losing in an NFL game? God, I love this place.
Tebow would not laugh.
He would cry.
This has been proven.

Leave.
At times I think we look for a reason to complain or find fault. I am not sure at that point in the game serious faces or kicking water coolers would have helped us win!
