Dead criminal’s family whines that Dallas homeowner didn’t warn home invader before shooting him
An elderly man shot and killed a would-be burglar inside his Oak Cliff home.
Police say the homeowner saw Deyfon Pipkins, 33, trying to climb into the window and fired his weapon at least once at the intruder.
The homeowner is legally protected by the Castle Doctrine, which allows a person to defend his or her home against an intruder.

Was the family there to know if he was warned or not, and if so...are they being charged with B&E too??

Too friggin bad. I would have done/ would still do the same thing. Someone breaks into my home, they get dead. End of story.
Where was the homeowners warning when he broke in? The moment I hear a window break or door busted open I'm doing what I need to protect my family. IMO I wouldn't take the precious time to find out what his intentions are whether to just take my stuff or hurt my family or worse stuff I won't even mention. That guy will be dropped the first chance I get. I will deal with the law later.
WOW.
I don't even know what else to say.
They should be glad it wasn't me. I would have shot the family members for complaining as well. :woot:

Knowing my luck, it would be a deaf mute breaking out a front window to warn me that a gang of hoodlums was leaving out of the back window with all my prized possessions, but they didn't take my wife ... Well, I guess he deserved it anyway, I leave that back window unlocked for a reason.
