Think CLEV traded away Trent Richardson to go after Mojo .

Quote:I do not understand this mentality. It's as if you feel sorry for him having to play here. You hate seeing him not have a chance at a superbowl? I hate not seeing the burst that was once there or the positive attitude he once displayed.

No, he is not worth a first round pick.

No, I do not feel sorry for him I just hate seeing him going out like this. The Jaguars have a very slim chance at winning Super Bowls today.  Why keep solid players whom they can get a lot back for by trade? Look at Denver, they would be pretty solid with a guy like Jones Drew in their back field. Instead of keeping Jones Drew and losing him for nothing, trade him and get something back in return.

Why would anybody trade for Jones-Drew? He was coming off a serious foot injury and now has an injured ankle. If the team could trade him, they would. There is no market for a worn down 28 year old running back.

Denver is more than solid without MJD. You have to try and keep a fieldable team to allow it to function and develope younger players. Don't get me wrong, if a pick could be had for him that was third round or above do it in a heartbeat. Other than that, he finishes out his contract and if the team feels he is worth the price of the tag next year tag him and milk him out. I doubt they would value him at the tag price which is approx 8.2 million this year and more than likely slightly higher next year.
MJD could maybe fetch a 5th-6th round pick.  RB age, the offseason foot injury, the current ankle injury, and last year of his contract make his marketability rather low.

Nobody would trade ANYTHING for him. Not even a 6th. I just don't see it. Why waste a draft pick when you can sign him cheap in the offseason? He should have been traded seasons ago, if only we knew we'd be in this situaion.

I'd take even a 7th for Mojo now. His career is headed south.
No.  Not even close.

5foot7

If he was actually productive to start this season, he might be worth a mid-round pick. Now? No way.

Mojo isn't worth anything in trade. If anyone offered a 1st for him the GM would be a moron not to snap it up.

A first what?

4th round pick if he's healthy.

Im on the lets get something for him and send him to a contender wagon.

Which he hasn't been for a while now.

I honestly don't think there's any trade value left.  We'll get as much use out of him this year, and then it's off to free agency.
I literally laughed at everybody who thought he would sniff Fred Taylors all-time rushing yardage total.  I also laughed at everybody who thought Trent Richardson would be worth a first round pick.  I admit that I was wrong about where he was picked, but I tried to tell some of you that Richardson would be a bust.  He's averaging 3.5 yards per carry.  105 yards on 31 carries so far.  Lendale White type numbers if you ask me.

Agreed on all three points.
Jones drew is our best weapon. Despite his injuries he makes Jacksonville a team worth watching. I do not fault his injury caution as the team has shown a reluctance to reinvest in his future. The real question is our coach Gus Bradley. He invests in blain gabbert although he is a proven non performer. I would lose my job in 6 months backing such poor performance. I am not a tebow maniac but can tell good business from bad. Tebows starting record rivials any rookie starter. He is a leader. Any one can tell that gabbert cannot perform at this level from a mental standpoint. Jacksonville needs quarterbacks. It is our weakness and our fault for not acquiring better. Wake up and do your job. Listen to a community that has seen more of our games live than you have. Just because you are the coach doesn't give you special powers that allow your judgment to defy reality. Jacksonville tebow is a win win unlike 0 and 2.
Quote:Do you see the Jaguars following the Browns and trading away their only Playmaker for a 1st round pick?

Is he worth a 1st round pick with all his injury history?

Does he remain a Jaguar for the rest of his career?

I hope he stays, however I believe Caldwell would do it for a 1st in a heartbeat...Realistically I think the most we would get for MJD is a 3rd...Remember Boldin went for a 6th.

Is he worth it? Not anymore.

But if we could get an offer of a 1st rounder from a desperate enough team I'd say go for it....
Quote:1)Absolutely not.

2) Absolutely not.

3) I don't think he does. I see him going elsewhere sooner than later. As much as I like the guy he's not in the future plans in my opinion.

4) Caldwell would trade Mojo for a 1st in a heartbeat but it would never happen.
Absolutely not.

Typical tebow minion, nice first post Jaguars fan. Which one of the 18 or so clowns were you?
