Listened to Prosser on 1010 this morning, and he said something about the Jags being 10th in NFL History as for being an underdog going into Seattle this Sunday. Talked about the crowd noise, no run game, no pass game, how we can't score.
Then he said we could possibly be in the talks of the worst team in NFL History. I disagree, when Blackmon gets back and He and Henne put up around 200 yards like they did against Houston last year, it will open the offense up for Shorts and Lewis. We're bad, but not all time worst team in history, bad.
Agreed. Our defense and kickers are too average to be the worst team in NFL history.
I agree we won't be as bad as some expect once Blackmon returns...but please don't include that bum Marcedes as any sort of help once he returns....he flat out stinks and is paid like a star TE. I cannot wait until he's gone.
What 10 teams had less of a shot than we do this Sunday???

When Blackmon comes back BG will be back to starting. I really will like to see what BG and Blackmon can do. They have not played together since Blackmon came out of his shell during the Houston game except for the one preseason game against the JETS where they both looked good.
but there will be 13 games left in the season after this game! we will have many opportunities to fill the top 5 with record setting lines.

Blackmon came out of his shell when Henne became the starter? Weird coincidence.... THATS NOT SAYING I LOVE HENNE.. just find it funny
Many years ago, I found a newspaper from 1975 from a stack of papers in my room. The one thing I recall from that newspaper was the point spread of an NFL game at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, MN between the Chargers and Vikings. The Vikings were 21 point favorites in that game. They were coming off 2 straight Super Bowl appearances. While the Vikings won the game by a comfortable margin ( 28-13 ), the Chargers actually covered the point spread.

I heard last night that the favorite in games with 20 point spreads are something like 2-16 to cover. Let's go Jags, keep it to just 19!!!!!

Well as big of a bum as you think he is, he will help with blocking and right now, that will help.

Absolutely! Even with the Internet reducing the need of newspapers substantially, if not totally, it's the pre-Internet junk that still exists.

The best hope for the Jaguars to cover this game is the knowledge base that Gus Bradley has on the Seahawks.

...and that aspect shouldn't be discounted.
lastest Point spread has the Jaguars as the 19.5 point underdog

There are a ton of other "Jaguar Stars" that wouldn't be making what they are making anywhere else. Like Pozluszny.
And by Jaguar stars, I mean Jaguars that compared to their crappy teammates seem like good players until you watch a few other NFL games and realize even our best players are about two rungs below.

ok... But what's the latest point spread.... NOW?
I'm in a Pick 'em pool, and I was telling myself I was gonna take the Seahawks, but then I just couldn't bring myself to it. I think the Jags can cover the spread... Oh who am I kidding. I'm hoping they cover!
Either way, it won't be close. But I think we only lose by 17, in the second half, the Hawks pull most of thier starters.
