I'll take the Jags and 20pts more times than not...this time, not.

Who ever is thinking that this will have similar outcome to that when we played Houston last year (where we were huge underdogs) are in for a huge surprise.
It will be an ugly game. I said it yesterday, game will be over at half time. Hawks will run up the score by the end of first half and play their 2nd and 3rd string players in the second half.

Its not going to be the high scoring game that one was, but I do think it will be a low scoring game, closer than you think.
17 -13 ish , Seahawk win.

I'm going to this game. I went to the 41-0 loss in Seattle back in 2009. It was the first football I had seen in my life (in person, on TV or otherwise). The Seahawks fans treated me HORRIBLY. Completely classless. Here's hoping I enjoy this game more and there will be a more favourable result.

Hawks fan here.
Here would be the key differentiators in this game for me:
1. Jags Run-D is not very good, and Seattle features Marshawn Lynch, Robert Turbin, and Christine Michael. So even if "backups" end up in the game, they can light it up as well. Especially Michael, against an already gassed D. He is lightning in a bottle.
2. Backup QB in Seattle throws a beautiful deep ball and has great chemistry with a "backup" WR that can burn people easily. Point here is that the "backups" in Seattle can hurt equally as bad as our starters can, especially late in the game.
3. Back to the starters, the offense in Seattle will be pressed to step it up after their sub-par performances in WK1 and WK2. I fully expect them to bring their A+ game until Pete is satisfied. Russell Wilson needs to show 2012 Russell Wilson. We have yet to see him put it all together and he needs a game like that prior to the Houston game.
4. The D will give the Jags heartburn all day long. Points from the D are inevitable in a match-up like this. Earl Thomas Pick 6 on a ill advised throw over the middle.
5. We have yet to see anything electric from Special Teams, although they have gotten a turnover and had a few decent returns. I am interested in seeing how Tate/Kearse navigates the Jags ST on returns.
Prediction: Hawks 52 Jags 3

Thanks for telling us things we probably already know.

The Jags run D actually did a decent job against Jamaal Charles in week 1.
The Jags defense overall isn't really that bad. I think they come to play this week, especially for Bradley who is playing his old team.
52-3 is not happening.
17-13 Seattle.

I am all for close games too!
I just do not see how the Jags are going to score 13 (more points than BOTH of their previous games combined) in Seattle against the Seattle Defense with a backup QB at the helm. I am sure Gus will have them prepared to fight through the noise at CLink, I just dont see it happening enough for them to score 13 points.
If this was a home game for the Jags, I would give you guys the closer score. But hey - any given Sunday eh?

I could see Ace Sanders returning a punt for a score.
I could see the Jags defense returning a turnover for a score.
I could see Cecil Shorts hit a long one for a score.
Granted, all these things together won't likely happen, but 13 points is only 1 touchdown and 2 FG's. I could see the Jags scoring a TD in any of the above ways.

Not even going to sugarcoat this one. We all know that this game is going to be the first beatdown of the year for us right? I am not talking about 27 - 2 or 19 - 9, this is one of those potentially 40 or 50 burgers. If they can put 28 or 29 points up against SF at home. You can bet your bottom dollar they'll eclipse 30 on us easily. Guess it'll be a double fish weekend for me. Normally I'd go on Saturday only but.....

After looking at your schedule you guys play at Denver and host SF at home as well. Man this schedule you guys have is brutal. Texans twice (division), Rams...
Feel sorry for you guys.

We techncially don't play SF here. That'll be overseas in London this year. And we'll probably be getting embarrassed for the next three years over there with more outmached opponents that the NFL wants to schedule us for. The Rams aren't some beast of a team though. That might actually be winnable (somewhat).

I'll root for you guys in all non-Hawks games!

Quote:Hawks fan here.Must be a huge Hawks fan to play up Christine Michael, who has been a healthy scratch the first 2 weeks, along with the "backup qb" who has a name believe it or not ( Tavaris Jackson, just to help you out), and not sure who you were refering to with the "backup wr" you could not name.

Do I believe this game will be close??? Never!
But find it amazing how many "big Seahawks fans" there are right now.

I said this team would get 6-7 wins this year. I also said our signature win of the season would be at Seattle.....
Im sticking to it. Jags 23 - Hawks 10.
Yes I am being serious. We will get 1 defensive TD, 1 offensive TD, 2 extra points, and 3 FGs.

Hawks all over the jags unless we get some kind of running game going.
24-9 Hawks in an easy win. I think they left off the gas after dominating most of the game. As of right now there isn't any aspect of our team that is good.
