This game reminds me of Buddy Ryan's first season (as head coach) when he had a rebuilding team and headed into Chicago (his former team) on the road, in week 2 of the 1986 season. The Eagles were huge underdogs as expected but fought and scrapped for their head coach as they knew the game would be emotional for him. That Eagles team got destroyed in their opener vs Washington much like the Jags got destroyed by Kansas City.
The Eagles played very hard for Ryan that day and wound up barely losing to Chicago in overtime, 13-10.
Its a very similar situation here with Gus Bradley going back to Seattle for this game.
How the Jags play in this game I think will tell a lot about how much this team feels for their current head coach.
I think the Jags will rise to the occasion and play hard for Bradley, despite being overwhelming 20 point underdogs.
Jaguars 13
Seattle 17
P.S. nice to see a new board so I can post again to the main forum without driver errors!!!!!
Im predicting either 42-3 or 7-0 ( if Seahawks go into victory formation after their first drive.)
Jags to cover the spread (it's not like they can cover the read-option).
No score predictions but I think they play better.
I also think the Jags will cover the spread, a close game, but they will lose.
In week one, the Seahawks squeeked out a 12-7 win against the Panthers. However, the Seahawks laid 29 on the 49ers last week and only gave up 3. The Seahawks are starting to hit on all cylinders, while the Jags are floundering to even find the keys. Unfortunately, I see this game not being a pretty one for the Jags on the west coast. Seahawks 34 Jaguars 10.

Its also the classic set up for a let down game by Seattle after an emotional division game. The 'Hawks were probably looking towards that San Fran game as soon as that schedule was released.
Jags could keep it close.

As a Jag fan and someone that wants to see a good game, at least, I hope you're right.
I'm drinking the Koolaid. Jags win by a field goal.
I will be very surprised and shocked if the Jags even reach the Red Zone...

I think that is more than just Koolaid.
I'm not even getting my expectations up. I do wish we could win though! That would be a statement! I'd feel a lot better if Blackmon was back. Sherman shutdown anquan last week I imagine hell be following Cecil this week.
42-12 Hawks. Scobee kicks four 50+ yard field goals!
I predict the Jaguars will win.....
....the coin toss.
The crowd will overwhelm our players.... and so will the Seahawks. 35-6
We will lose but I think the Jags can make it close. Maybe Bradley can light a fire under the players.
A part of me wants to belive the words that are coming out of TMD's mouth but the realist in me says it's gonna be a massacre.
Multiple TDs is all I want
