If he leaves this year he's probably a 2nd rounder, if he waits til next year he's a 1st rounder. He is very legit...he's basically come out of nowhere to be what we thought Fales was going to be. Extremely impressive touch and ball placement, sneaky athleticism, etc...

When oklahoma's defense played inspired, Petty did not do that well. Once Oklahoma defense realized how bad their offense was combined with being out on the field against a wide open offense, Petty looked good.
People need to realize the offense makes the qb, easy to throw to wide open receivers

In college, especially in the current college climate - the offense generally makes the QB.....In the pro's its reverse, the QB makes the offense.
