Cool, although I'm surprised they waived Cutrer to make room. He was getting some rave reviews by draftniks.

Another smallish corner to compete at the nickel spot. But I can't criticize this much because the ideal long athletes aren't going to be found on the waiver wire. Optimistically, maybe Nixon was buried on Denver's depth chart because of their trio of blue-chip starters.
The guy has run a 4.26 40. My guess is that they want to see him on special teams, and take it from there.
"Nixon stood out on special teams for the Broncos under the direction of current Jaguars Special Teams Coordinator Joe DeCamillis."

So he's a fast, developing young CB with value as a special teamer. Is he perhaps challing for Myrick's roster spot?

I don't think so.  Thinking maybe they will try two fast paced gunners.  With a huge need for being burned at ST.  Having guys who can get down the field faster, as long as can wrap up tackle.  Can help with the loss of field position from years past.
Good, this is one spot where I felt our depth was lacking, he should at least make the roster and maybe even give us some leverage with Colvin coming up on FA after this year, good pickup.

If Fournette is Taylor Than Westbrook is Smith!

I agree to an extent. Did you know the only NFL WR's who have more 1000 yrd season the smoove are Rice and Moss? Yes, he was in that elite company. Westbrook was a great pick and teams are very foolish for letting him slip into the 4th round because of incidents that may or may not have happened when he was a 16/17 YO boy. Can't say I expect him to have that many opportunities this season, but I hope he forces his way onto the field.
