This should be simple and straightforward. I am getting an e-mail everytime someone responds to a post I've posted. It's not something I want. How do I turn it off?

User CP > Edit options > Messaging and Notifications > Default Thread Subscription Mode. Set to Do Not Subcribe.

Take a look at this thread.  The default for new users should be set so that they don't have this problem.
