If you don't believe you are going to win then you should not be playing. Although I think it is stupid for any competitor to say they are going to win it all. I would like to see our players say something along the lines of we are going to be successful. Or we are going to surprise people. Still confident but not putting all the eggs in one basket.

I don't think I agree with him, and I'd love to be proven wrong, but I'm glad he's speaking in those terms.
I definitely think this is the type of mindset that's best for the Jaguars or any NFL franchise. If players go into a season with lower expectations, I think it shows up in games ( especially in crunch time and when adversity hits ). Also, the purpose of working hard in practice lessens.
