Only the 3rd day of camp but seems like Bortles is what he is. This isn't good.

It is still early. We've seen this in the past though, and it doesn't do anything to establish confidence. I like Bortles, but Ive been off the bandwagon since week 2 last year and i dont think hes the long term guy for us. Nowhere near it.

Guys, if ever, please take off the blinders. The guy is not good. He just isn't. When the pads come on everything reverts back. He's not the guy. It was a wasted pick on a project QB. He can't read a defense unless the coverage is a clear one on one or if the defense is playing prevent. There is no way in hell these kind of players improve their stat-line and come back from playing like this. He is what he his. Our own local media is talking about looking at the QB crop next year and chanting Kaep's name.

Maybe our LBs and DBs are good?

Man I hate reality checks. I was kind of a buzz kill all off season over Blake, I got some hopes up for this camp and it seems that was a mistake as of now. It is just one practice though, maybe he had to get it out of his system.

I'd love to see what Kaepernick can do. There is no way he can be worse than Bortles.

I'll pass on that, Kaep  has not been the same QB since Harbaugh left. I want to see Brandon Allen earn the QB2 spot, so when Blake goes full meltdown mode in about 6 weeks he can take over. He has had a solid camp from what I hear, want to see him with the 2s.

I still find it funny that some people are surprised that Blake sucks.

This team is easily a .500 team with an average QB.

I honestly think Chad Henne gets us 7 wins this year, because although he won't win games for us, he's less likely to lose them.

If Blake starts 16 games, I think the best we can hope for is 6-10 yet again.

He's gotta go. It'll be the next thing we do next off season.

Sigh, this really isn't good.

 Bortles will keep throwing pick 6s and wobbling ducks. If he is our starter, we won't win more than 4 games. He is a loser.

Time for the front office to initiate the stategy. Tank for josh rosen, sam darnold, or whoever is the top nfl qb prospect

Yeah he was awful but leonard will minimize blakes mistakes!!

 He won football games. I'd rather have a QB like Brunell, but I'd settle for Garrard-like play. With our defense and Fournette, it would be enough to win football games.
 Bortles will only lose us games with his untimely picks.

At least Marrone will make the switch if he needs to unlike Gus. He's done it with QB's in the past and pretty much said tonight if he had to tell Bortles to keep his head up then we're in trouble. He wants to win.

Yea keep believing that. A rb that is great is awesome but this isn't 2007.

I guess i made it seem like i believe fournette helps Bortles when i dont. Less attempts will not cut his boneheaded plays it will make them that much more costly.

From what I saw on video, Fowler is looking pretty damn explosive out there.

He looked explosive last year too in drills during training camp. I wouldn't get too excited from this.
