It should definitely give them food for thought. If it's an honest mistake then they take the 'punishment' and get back into the drills or game, no problem. If they're pouting and acting out, the coach knows it's a personality issue as opposed to an honest mistake and can effectively deal with it. This team has had no discipline in so long it's not surprising there would be issues going into camp. It needs to be nipped in the bud now.
