IT'S STILL PRE-SEASON.

Pre-season games' score may not mean anything but the performance of the first team is a very good indication of what to come.
It's not just "pre-season" around here anymore. And anyone with eyes can clearly see this team has a huge problem not just at QB but clearly in the trenches. You can't hide that. You can either push people around on offense or knock people on their [BLEEP] on defense. None of that has showed up at all the last three games. Dropped passes isn't a pre season thing. That's a "You either have it or you don't" thing. No more excuses for this nonsense out there.

I'll give Campbell some credit for lighting a fire under the defense's [BLEEP]. But, here's the thing. You let Newton march down field on you and then you went out and stopped Anderson instead at QB. Sorry dude. Not impressed. I am seeing more piss poor tackling efforts out there. Blown assignments again. Over pursuing again. Just garbage.

This team had multiple problems to address and they couldn't get it done in the off-season. You shouldn't be out here [BLEEP] around with your QB position, the K position and the offensive line in week three of the pre-season. That [BLEEP] should have been resolved back in May, June & July. Now we'll have a revolving door at LG or along the line throughout the year. A shaky Kicker and Quarterback as well. We'll end up running Fournette into the ground this year. It'll be 2 yards rushing, 2 yards rushing, pass incomplete annnnnnnnnd punt probably 7 out of every 10 possessions this year.

Move those chains! Move those chains! Move those chains! SYKE!
Hahaha. Good god chad Henne is so bad. He is an insult to NFL Qbs
I just don't know how Hackett and Wash weren't fired in the off-season. This organization is so inept.
Just drives me up a damn wall that they didn't address the QB position to an extent. I know you may have evaluated guys. But, you never know. At least try. Coughlin at least tried over the years. Didn't he draft Rob Johnson, David Garrard and Johnathan Quinn all at one point? He traded for Mark Brunell as well. It's not like he's afraid to make moves.

I don't know. I've come to accept the fact that 2017 won't even get us at .500. But hopefully this [BLEEP] gets cleaned up in 2018. Caldwell needs his [BLEEP] kicked. He needs to go. Just throw all the money you have at Kirk Cousins next year in the off-season. Don't even take a risk or chance on another top five QB prospect. That's a terrible idea. They need to focus on getting the trenches repaired now.

Address the interior of the offensive line. Find some more depth for the defensive line. You win and lose in the trenches. I think as far back as you can go in the NFL it's ALWAYS, ALWAYS started in the trenches. You either push forward or get bulldozed back. Find guys that are mean and nasty and start building around that.

All these problems were supposed to be addressed this past offs eason. Caldwell thinking he's the smartest guy in the room is why this team is in trouble and also Shad Khan is just as much to blame. He's got no football sense whatsoever.

Yup. I respect Khan for the efforts he's made with the stadium, the city and the venues and what not. Great additions. He's great at that at least. But, I don't go to that stadium to jump in some pool for three hours or to get [BLEEP] faced with the little bit of spare time and money I get to go and see them play a handful of times a year.

We can play in a [BLEEP] high school football field for all I care where the track outlines the exterior of the field. I don't care. Just win some damn games.
I have seen a few plays I didn't like the call. Last night o. 3rd and 17 they ran a draw to Grant. they should have let Blake throw it or at least given him an option too throw based on his presnap read.
Other than that and a few other calls I'd say calls are good.
Failure is obviously and clearly the fault  of poor execution.
Players>Plays

After the last two games it is easy to see the biggest problem isn't even the QB...

It's the O-Line. 0 push in the run game from the interior. Tackles not holding their blocks long enough. Pass protection is not great and our best lineman in that regards just might be a rookie.
Yes! He is open for criticism...I know preseason is vanilla. But Hackett fails to exploit every part of the field. I bet there's a consensus across the NFL that we are the easiest team to defensively game-plan for.
Guys, this is exhausting. When will (most) of you learn, it's not on play calling. I've been hearing this complaint for a freaking decade. Players, execution, period.

The Patriots use every part of the field and keep the defense spread out and off-guard.  We do not do that.

I agree it's players also.  This is not an "either or" thing, it's a "both and" thing.
Complaining about play calling in pre-season???

I've now seen everything.

LOL

I don't think it will be so predictable when it counts guys. Seriously.

We don't know what we do yet because Hackett called like 4 games last year with Olie's playbook and zero, none, not a single one yet this year with his own.
Why does coaching seem so bad?

You do know that this is preseason right?  No schemes and vanilla personnel groupings/formations/plays?  To [BLEEP] and whine about "play-calling" during the preseason is just...  Wallbash
We have crappy QBs, crappy RBs, besides Fournette and a few bad OL guys, how the heck are you gonna blame on the OC, plus is preseason where there is no gameplaining
Our offense will be pretty simple this year. Run, run, pass. Run to setup the pass, lots of playaction, hitting the tight end short , basically be risk adverse as possible and keep things ticking over.

The only problem is this is extremely hard to do right when you can't ehhhh run block. Coming into 3rd down with 8+ yards to go is not what we want.
