I know it is too easy to blame everything on Gus. However this game has to be on Bortles. The deep ball this year is terrible. No where near a spiral. The fact it gets anywhere near a receiver is amazing. Both deep passes were beyond Wobbly. Lee would of easily had a td.
And we may of had a chance to win the game. I am impressed with the play calling though. Just Bortles playing like that won't win many games. No idea what is wrong. However would look for trading for a qb soon to compete with Blake. By soon I mean by offseason. And no Henne cant.
Was hoping the cowboys went back to Romo to make a play at Prescott. Since there is no chance in that. Hope someone who could be a starter is there. Cause if Blake gets any worse. We are in serious trouble.

^ Glad to see you're coming around to what most have already been seeing this season regarding Blake. His inaccuracy and terrible INTs have kept this team from winning at LEAST 3 other games.
It's not the only issue with this team, to be sure. But, it is a BIG reason this team loses alot.

Same windup, same poor accuracy, same wobbly ducks. Only difference is tebow won football games. All blake does is lose. Lord Timmy won a playoff game. Drunk Bortles will never even sniff the playoffs.
All arm and no step... no wonder his arm is tired. It seems the roll outs are the only time where he uses his body on a throw. It is sad that we are witnessing the Titans lap us on their rebuild. They look setup to have an easy path to the division title going forward. The Texans are okay but they have blown having a good defense with bad offense. Indy is only a whole team away from surrounding Luck and TY with talent.

Everyone who has dogged the people who wanted Marriotta. Are now seeing he is much better then Blake. Sad but true. And I hate it cause i will never root for a rival.
This teams problems run much deeper than Blake. He hasn't been good but we have major problems that start at the top.

The GB vs tacks game was on here locally and I was impressed with what I saw from him. He's so much better than what we've seen this year for QB play.

this game is on Blake. That is true because we lost by only three points, so if you take the pick six away we would have won.
The Tide of opinion on Blake Bortles has shifted and reality might be starting to set in. year (1)............rookie season.......speaks for itself. Year (2)...much promise........little delivery. The "mental part" of his game was starting to show serious cracks. In spite of that many were naming him Franchise. Personally, I strongly disagreed with that and have said he will NEVER be that kind of Brady, Rodgers, or Manning type. In fact, I thought he would barely become a slightly above average QB in this league. He raises more questions than he answers. And now Year (3)...........his season pretty much mirrors the season the team is having also as a whole. It's pretty obvious Gus will be handed an exit visa and maybe Caldwell too. On paper, this team is much better than their record indicates but after nine games, it's entirely possible the players are looking for this to get over with...............FAST! The Jags have ALLOT of problems and yes............Blake Bortles contributes to a good portion of that. But, if he wasn't in there..........not sure they'd be any better off in the won / loss column. The offense (particularly the running game) has been dismal. There is NO REASON with the kind of talent they have in that backfield that even collectively the running game sucks. The confidence on this team has been completely shattered. They need wholesale changes to this team.

This game was not all on Blake. He has to play better but so does nearly every player that we have seen step on the field.
This teams struggles both today and all year are a little bigger than Blake Bortles.

Blake and Gus are by so far the two biggest problems, there isn't even another area that comes close.

If we were only able to get rid of one person, I'd get rid of baldy bortles and keep Gus
It starts with zero accountability on this team. Winning isn't/wasn't stressed enough.
They were told to just get better and improve.

You've got those two backwards. Blake is potentially fixable and has value, even as a backup. We don't need a backup cheerleader.
