Allen High School Stadium in Allen, TX could accommodate the game

I know that one. It's the one where the foundation started cracking after less than five years.

That's what I was thinking. A Jaguar fan convoy of thousands!! Banana Banana

Man that field and stadium is nice.
Here's hoping most people will excuse Bortles if he floats a pass or two in this one.

They take high school football seriously in Texas. Dang.
PFT is now saying we need to swap home for home.

A home opener in Jacksonville will be welcomed certainly. Tough for Houston either way. If they play it somewhere else, it eats severely into home field advantage. Unrelated, but my dear Tottenham Hotspur is struggling mightily right now, 3 games into the season in their borrowed 'home' in Wembley as they build their stadium. Hopefully, all is settled so they open in Houston. Though the roads to the stadium being precarious is another grave issue. Blessings to Texas.
Hearing they might move it to Thursday at Dallas stadium. Starting time would be 5pm and would lead into the chiefs vs patriots game, i would be down for that.

No wayyyy, where did you hear that?
I don't think it matters where they play the game... Clowney, Watt, Hopkins..... Fate Sealed.
We should be hoping the game gets cancelled so we don't lose as many as we thought.
Bortles is terrible.
Texans 34
Jags 9

Yup, texans gonna be emotional and fired up playing for their city.  This is gonna get ugly for the Jags.

Heard it on ESPN radio earlier this morning.

This is your definition of loser mindset, folks.  I hear the Jags are just going to forfeit the season and settle for #1 pick, same in 2018. Stockpile picks for the annual offseason tournament crown.

Some random dude on twitter suggested it and Ryan O Hackoran added the 5pm lead into Pats Chiefs....

I think the league will wait to see how relief efforts go this first week and won't make a decision until Monday of next week.
At which point if the flooding has subsided and some of normal life is going on, they'll roll with it in Houston.

I think the best choice is San Antonio so as to not use anyone else's field (NOLA, Dallas) and still be a "home" game for Houston and not have to alter schedules...

But I'm not going to either game (first or last Jax VS Houston) so it doesn't matter much to me.
like i said before, Flipping the home games would be the easiest solution. Houston would wind up with opening the season with 3 road games, we would open with 3 home but the third would be the london game. and Houston would end the season with 2 home and 1 away we would end with 3 away games, while we are fighting for the division i dont like the way it plays out.

Since we're usually out of playoff contention by October 1, getting another September home game would be sweet !!   After all, our September record over the past 4 years is 1-13.

Yeah the foundation did start cracking and they did massive repairs.  Heck they have season ticket holders for that place.  It is crazy.  I'm one of the 20% that voted NO on this monster palace

We moved to another part of North Dallas that has lower property taxes, of course now I live out in the sticks towards Oklahoma but I escaped paying for that place.

Nah, Bills are ahead of the Jags right now for the offseason Chhhhammppiioonnshhiippp
We definitely don't win this game now. It's going to be a symbolic game for Houston, similar to when the Saints finally played in Nola after Katrina. The Texans will be fired up. Our poor Jags
If it were up to Britjag, we would have never made it across the pond. Enjoy the Jags game in London... they will be moving there soon enough... get ready to feel, how we feel, when we trot that losing squad of rejects out every Sunday....
