You also need to analyze the picks tho.... the first two were great efforts by DBs... not saying it's not his fault, but it's in a diifferent category than the bonehead INTs you see Blake make. The last INT was tipped downfield, which again is sort of a different category.

The kid just needs more reps to figure it out.

This is what I texted to a friend earlier. Allen seems to have the bones to be a good QB, he just needs some experience to get over the 'bigness' of it all.
That's what she said

Have you seen Bortles throw lately?
278 total yards in the first half for the Jaguars offense... that's just WOW.

That he needs some experience? Wait, I just had a flashback to my teen aged years.
Wynn is tiny as [BLEEP] up close
Expect the middle to get attacked now for some falcon's redemption.

The chances of a 6th round pick QB being good in the NFL is about 5%

He may turn into a decent backup

If Bortles was out there would see him look shaky, no confidence, slow decision making, slow release, poor body language,  bunch dink passes, poor placement,  overthrows, underthrows, ints

wow. are you mad. lol.

Personally, I prefer to compare late-round QBs to the greatest of sixth-round greats, Spergon Wynn.
Bow has looked good at RG. No?

We'd win the scrub super bowl
So.... With an active qb competition last week, we didn't let the qbs throw. This week, the qb throws three picks in the first half and they left him come out throwing in the second half.
Okay, scratch Bow looking good. Just whiffed bad!
Chad Allen
Henne sighting

Bortles has been pretty unfortunate with tipped passes in his career too. Let's face it 3 ints vs backups isn't great. Help is not on the way.
