Full Version: Boselli Has Me Concerned

On tonight's radio show on 1010xl, Boselli  was discussing AJ Bouye, and he observed that Bouye got hurt in the first practice against New England and hasn't played since.  He further went on citing language from several players saying "we are going to be alright,"and observed coaches and teams were under no obligation to disclose injuries prior to now.

I assumed Bouye would be fine, but now I'm wondering just how serious is his injury.

Will he play against Houston?  If so, how effective will he be?

If not, how much longer will he be out of action?
Even if Bouye is out, our defense is going to keep us in ball games. Let's just all hope that Bortles doesn't throw a pick 6 and throws spirals.
You are overthinking  this. A.J. Bouye did not need to play much in preseason. Patient confidentiality could be why nobody is talking about the injury itself. "We will be alright" is just the team being optimistic, not hiding anything that should be made public. We will know if the injury is severe on Wednesday, when teams are required to publish official reports.
He has been practicing and has been talking in interviews like he's playing. So...we'll see this weekend.
Bouye just had an interview talking about this Sunday, he's for sure playing.

Bouye on not playing as a complete starting secondary much in the offseason and today's practice:

"We was all out there today and it felt pretty good..."

Um it is pretty much not legal to hide injuries, at least if the guy is going to be out. Of course he is playing guys not being quite 100% is just part of the game.

During the off-season/preseason there are no mandatory injury reports so they don't have to say at all what the injury is. Now come officially week 1, yes it must be reported.
Boselli is usually drowning in the Koolaid this time of year and the team ends up being lousy. Maybe he's using reverse psychology this year?
I'm not concerned about it, everything seems to point to that he's playing this week. If you know what you have in a player let him rest.
Boselli thinks Bouye needs REPSPSSSSS!

Thanks.

Not so worried now...at least not about Bouye.

Perhaps.
UCF and the Jags don't appear to mix very well ....
Bouye
Bortles
Sims Walker
Storm Johnson
