Quote:My gut feeling is the Browns will win a game, though I probably will pick against them in each of their remaining games. It takes a ' perfect'  storm to lose every game on the schedule. With the addition of Jamie Collins to their roster, they actually improved their chances to win a game, not the other way around.

It is safe to assume Jamie Collins can't be blamed for any of the losses. He actually was good last night in his first game as a Brown.

You know better than anyone else: Are the 2016 Browns comparable with the 2008 Lions in more ways than their record?

  I agree regarding Jamie Collins.

The # 1 comparison between the 2016 Browns and the 2008 Lions is the high number of injuries for both teams.  Especially,  at the QB position.

Another similarity is there were a number of games both teams had a chance to win games based on what transpired but for one or more reasons couldn't pull it off.   The 2008 Lions though were completely destroyed in a number of other games though,  including the last time the Jaguars played a regular season game in Detroit.    In the Lions final home game that season,  the Saints never even had to punt.

LOL Well it certainly helps that the Saints have a guy named Drew Brees playing QB.

It is like a QB curse in Cleveland: nobody could play the position without getting hurt until last week. Pathetic.

More than anything,  I believe the Browns need stability.   The other 3 teams in the AFC North have had their HC and starting QB in place for many,  many years.   It reflects in the standings most seasons.

It certainly did not help that they swung and missed on multiple head coaches, general managers, and quarterbacks. but their lack of patience is more clear now than ever and a big talking point this season. I think their habit of trading down, down, down reflects that.
They're gonna beat the steelers.

Edit: forgot say book it

That would be a series split. I doubt the Browns can sweep them.
They'll beat the Bengals (rather, the Bengals will beat themsleves).

Book it.
Browns would beat the jags in the middle of no were, not only that a bunch of babys who can't crawl yet could beat the Jags in a nfl game.
