I expected much more "learning curve" to show up from Cam today.
He impressed me quite a bit. Marcedes helped him and Parnell out quite well at times, but I didn't see the glaring rookie mistakes I anticipated from Cam Robinson today and that's exciting. I hope he continues on this path/trajectory.
Didnt hear Cam name the whole game, which is a great thing for an OL, all I heard all week was how Watt was gonna embarrass him, they were even joking on Sport Center last night how they felt sorry for Cam making his first start against Watt, well jokes on them

In fact, the entire OL deserves a ton of credit. I've ragged on them as much as anyone in the preseason, but they were practically flawless today. Houston's front 7 are legit. For the OL to have that kind of performance against them, in their own backyard - it bodes well for the season.
This is not true Watt carried the flag on the field and he's very photogenic
Watt got a compound fracture in his hand at some point in the game where the bone was poking out of his finger. Wrapped it up and went back out there. Dude is tough as nail

Both Robinson and Parnell did a great job at effectively neutralizing Houston's pass rushers. It felt like Bortles was only hurried on 5-6 drop backs.

Well Joeckel just got whipped and Wilson fumbled due to it. Nothing has changed in his play.
I just saw that and couldn't stop laughing. The way he ran in full circle only to end up standing over the other team who had recovered the fumble was text book joke style. Very happy to haven Cam on the team.
According to PFF, no one on the OL had a good game. Seriously, other than Parnell with a 67, every player graded in the 50's or lower. Lol, how is that even possible?
The team FINALLY has at least two MEN on the team. Two men that have ATTITUDE. Haven't had that in a long time.

PFF is garbage.
They had Brandon Dunn (3 tackles, 1 TFL) at 79 and Calais Campbell at 85 (6 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 QB hits and 3 TFL).
You can't get much better than Campbell, and they still didn't grade him higher than an 85, and Dunn was hardly noticeable but didn't grade much lower.

Not an NFL "LT" saw him more of a RT at this level. Preseason was talking about drafting a LT in the first round possibly...
Gotta give it up to him again! Dude is a beast!
The entire offensive line has played pretty good as of late. Cam is gonna be a star.
We need to thank the Broncos and Saints as well. Cam should have been a Top Ten Pick.

It is a very Jaguar kind of thin to get a high first round performing rookie (level wise) in the second. MJD, Rashean, Arob etc. We need it too, after all the 'every round' busts Gene We Bust left us.
