It's been cancelled from what I heard. Stuff like that only really works if your team is any good.
I never cared for it. Take people out of the stands to line up behind the end zone? Maybe it gives the players a little bit of a boost coming into the field but I think they'd have a bigger boost running out into a full stadium (hey I can hope, can't I?)
