Happy birthday, Deshaun Watson! The Texans rookie QB had his "Welcome to the NFL" moment, scampering through Bengals defenders for a 49-yard touchdown run on Thursday Night Football
Too bad he can't pass.

Also, that was a slow motion run, defenders were just terrible.  What a big deal out of very little.

Best of all, the birthday boy gave himself the gift he wanted most. The worst part was Cincnnati celebrated 50 years of existence with a punt fest  and could not take advantage of all the new celebration permissions.
If only he could play an awful Bengals team every week...

I wasn't impressed. Liked the kids competitiveness, toughness, and mobility. But too many balls hitting the ground early, made some serious errors not identifying the defense, threw at least 2balls that should've been easy picks, and focused on Push-Off Hopkins almost exclusively. Granted they're decimated with injuries to pass-catchers, but I dont see Watson being worth what they gave up for him.

But hey, he's a rook, and no one has ever questioned his character and work ethic. Maybe he'll prove me wrong. Other than being a tinhorn, I root for the kid as a person. I just don't see it.
Man I didn't realize how far teh Bengals have fallen. To get Houston on a short week at home... And only muster 9 on a team who just got blown out by us? Really? The Bungles are going to be in rebuild mode after this year, yikes they are a train wreck.
That game was a snoozefest. I awoke mid third quarter, made myself a tuna sandwich and facetimed kerry until he fell asleep
Watson looked terrible. He can't seem to read the defense and almost threw two pick 6's (he did same against us). His accuracy is terrible and his only go to route is comeback route with Hopkins.

I'm glad he's in our division
OK... so... Bengals<tinhorns<Jaguars
I will say that I'm even more impressed with our lines after this game. The Texans D-line had a pretty big impact on the game, and their O-line stopped the Bengals far better than they stopped us.

Absolutely, but again, there were two new starters on the OL. There will be some doubters all season if we don't keep winning our own LOS battles against better players.
