It's amazing how many people are violently pro-free speech until the speaker disagrees with them.

What does free speech have to do with coercing young children to make a political statement?

"Violently" pro free speech?  It seems to me like the only ones inciting violence are those that want to shut down free speech since they don't agree with a certain speaker.

Regarding this thread and the original post, it's just more "education" brain washing that children are getting nowadays.  No normal 8 year old has any idea regarding the current political/social issues of the day.
This is a pretty bad sign to be honest. If any African American who feels he has been wronged by the police forces their kid to do things like this, it presents a serious problem.
I'm more surprised that they play the anthem at a pop warner game lol.

8 year olds dont have rights, they are projections of their parents' opinions.
It's the parents.... not the athletes.

But let's continue blaming athletes and teachers for what young children do and say.

Yes, because parents got the idea of kneeling during the National Anthem from their peer in the break room.

It's unlikely that every set of parents taught their children to take a knee. In this case it was probably the coach who forced the kids to do it.
