Hi, Jaguars fans!

49ers are wearing black uniforms while the Rams are wearing gold/mustard Nike color rush uniforms in tonight's Thursday Night Football game from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara,CA. NFL Network will televise the game, with kickoff at 8:25PM Eastern Standard Time. GO NFC West!

Does anyone care who wins this game? I am sure the OP doesn't.
OK, so we get to see two of our 2017 opponents and it is a matchup of rookie head coaches. It is football and better than doing nothing. It's also the only other Color Rush game but I don't like San Francisco's black uniforms. All red with gold names and numbers would have been much better.
Just as I expected, nobody cares about the game. Someone would have replied if it mattered to anyone.

I picked SF to win in a pick-em league, so I want SF to win.
Which means LA will win.
No need to watch the game.
In any case I don't have NFL Network any more.
Rams score first 12 seconds into the game with that long touchdown run by Todd Gurley, Jr.
Then 49ers QB Brian Hoyer runs a 10-yard touchdown run to even the score at 7-7.
Gurley score another touchdown in the first quarter . to give the Rams the lead 14-7.
Maurice Jone-Drew - MJD - is in his second season as the L.A. Rams radio game color analyst along play-by-play-man J. B. Long, and sideline reporter and interviewer DeMarco Farr, on the L.A. Rams Radio Network.
MJD is a studio analyst for The NFL Network.
No. no one cares.
They need to get rid of thursday night NFL football.
Damn, we could have signed Brian Hoyer to replace Bortles. Jags management really dropped the ball on that one.

Brian Hoyer was terrible the first two weeks. If he is playing well tonight, it is because the Rams suck.

Both QB's in this game are doing a decent job, though neither defense looks like they are any good. Both of these teams look beatable when we play them. The only "threat" that I've seen so far is Gurley.
Goff looks significantly improved this year though. Fournette should be able to run over those defenses
Excited to play the niners this year. Will make bort look like brady.

I always thought the biggest threat would be Aaron Donald. He is the NFL's best DT and correct about being terribly underpaid.

All reports have been exactly that. Jared Goff credited Sean McVay for installing a simpler offense with plays that are much easier to call in the huddle.

He is but he is being wasted in a 3-4 scheme.
What I've seen so far is two offenses that are pretty good, yet pretty much one dimensional. Both defenses pretty much blow.

Which means all 11 guys are being wasted in a 3-4 scheme. I would like to know why Wade Phillips was hired by a team that is clearly best suited for a 4-3 defense.

I need to see how offenses perform against good defenses to take them seriously.
damn Rams are in real good position with McVay and Goff
so jealous

Not so fast. The 49ers don't really have a good defense.
Rams are blowing this game out 34-20 before the end of the third quarter - with a Goff quick pass to Sammy Watkins in the end zone.

I knew Sammy Watkins was going to help their offense as soon as I learned about the trade.
The rams have passed the jaguars as the least suckiest because they got a qb that looks and plays like a nfl qb.
