This is the first time in a long time we could even say this. Just think, the Jags could be 3-1 with the division lead.
I surely won't forget where we've came from, and think the Jags are above a team like the Jets. It wouldn't surprise me if the Jets beat us. But yeah, classic trap game.
'Trap game' in the 4th game of the season against a team that just won 20-6?
Trap game, this sounds like something Twig would say, and most likely will say by the end of the week. This is just the next game, the Jags just have to go play good football.

Yes.
It's easy to gain confidence and over look a team like NY.
I doubt the Jets beat us, can they? Yes its the NFL
But we match up with them, they have a crap QB, running game isnt great, they do have a solid defense
This is not the same ol Jags, Tenn is a good team that was a legit loss
Not sure if this is a "trap" game, but it is very important from the standpoint that this franchise hasn't put together back to back MEANINGFUL games for as long as I can remember. We need to establish dominance in this game.
That jets d line is as nasty if not nastier than our so it all comes down to bortles. He took what was there and his recievers made the play. He took maybe 3 risky passes the whole game 1 to hurns for the td and 2 incompletes to lee
We limit his risk and still make positive yardage we win. We put him in a position where he has to thread the needle we loose
I'm picking us in survivor pool this week. I put my faith that Marrone can continue the trend.
Ramsey and Bouye are looking forward to facing off against McCown.

Because of Ramsey and Bouye, it'll be our D-Line teeing off on McCown. I expect a return of Sacksonville.
Every game the Jags played in over the past 5 years was considered a "Trap Game"; unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.
We're road chalk this weekend, favored by about 3. Can't recall the last time we were a road favorite.
Can someone explain where this fallacy that the jets have a good defense came from? Leonard Williams and Jamal Adams. Everyone else on that defense is below average. Their offense is putrid. If we show up and play an average game we shouuld still beat them by multiple scores.

not sure what the heck happened this weekend but they looked like the 1985 Bears against the Phins (from my limited viewing on the NFL Redzone Network)
They also held the Titans to 3 points on August 12.

Cutler made that D look better than it has played.
That being said... I like our matchup VS them.
Especially our D VS McCown and whoever lines up at receiver for them these days.
Considering the Jags are traveling from London to Ny and then have a game the week after at Pitt... I'd consider it a trap game. The travels are hard enough and I wouldn't be surprised if the Jags came out sluggish. Then take into account it could be very easy for players to overlook the Jets and look ahead to playing Big Ben/Bell/Brown... yeah some could easily do that. This is where leadership comes into play and I'm sure guys like Calais are relentless pounding in the ear of the players to only think about the Jets.

I'd think the opposite. Give 110% against the Jets in attempt to secure a W (against a lesser opponent) then have a letdown on the 3rd consecutive road game facing a much better opponent.
... to your point though, they could be a step behind this weekend due to the round trip international travel and then getting back on the road to NYC

Maye is a beast, Wilkerson is a stud, Lee is a damn good LB, Claiborne has been pretty good since last year in Dallas, and Jenkins is decent as well. I would say they have the best defense in that division. You underrate that D big time
Will be a good test for Bortles
