Brady is MVP if award given out today. He leads almost every single passing stat, 8/0 TD/int. I'd say it'd be between Ramsey and Lawrence if DPOY handed out right now. Lawrence has 1.5,2.0, and 3.0 sacks through the 3 games and is by far best player on Cowboys defense... while Ramsey just erases half a field.

Just?
He needs to erase the WHOLE field!!!!!!!!
So is it the pass rush making the corner play stellar, or the stellar corner play making the pass rush good? Or is it both equally?

I dunno, I say Campbell

Ramsey has only allowed 34 yards this season, 34.  Shutdown corners rarely win DPOY though, so it'll probably go to a Dlineman.

But Ramsey and 'nem are on the heels like a shoe horn.

And oh man what a breath of fresh air Church has been.
I wouldn't put Talib on a best-anything team. He'll come down with an injury at crunch time or his fuse will burn down and set him off again.

I think it's both, but it will vary week to week depending upon the opponent.  Versus houston the line carried more weight. Versus balt.  the secondary may have carried just a smidgen more.

They compliment each other well now and that's the main thing. The ratio will vary and they clearly need the offense to chew some clock/protect the ball to be at their best as well.

Haha. I ment it in a good way. Three teams showed up on Sunday's and have completely avoided that man. Won't be long until national media catch on. It's amazing the talent he has. It's only his second year and didn't even have an offseason of reps.
Jaguars pass defense: 53.3% accuracy, 373 yards / 4.9 avg., 3 TDs, 4 INTs, and 59.6 QB rating.

Broncos pass defense: 66.1% accuracy, 610 yards / 5.9 avg., 7 TDs, 3 INTs, and 91.6 QB rating.

Those Broncos CBs are good, but the Jaguars, at least for the moment, have better CBs. And it isn't even that close.
Go watch the video on the Jags FB page. I love the end with Bouye yelling to Jalen "You're the best! You're the best!"

Those two feed off each other so well. This defensive attitude is awesome.

Well that's the thing, isn't it?   One without the other is totally ineffective, but if you have both at the same time, then you have a shut down defense.  So the answer is, equally.

That's right.  Can't leave out the offense.  It can have a huge beneficial effect on the defense.  Just look at the Houston game.  Our offense was ineffective, and the defense finally collapsed as a result.  So really, if you look at it that way, every sack or interception is the result of a total game-long team effort.

To be fair, Broncos have played Rivers, Prescott and Tyrod.

Jags have played Savage/Watson, Mariota and Elite Joe.

I still love the Jags CB tandem and they're younger and the Broncos so I wouldn't want to trade at all. Just saying the Jags have played some doo doo QBs so far.
