Quote:Hillary will get at least 300 tomorrow, and won't need Florida or Ohio.  Which is lucky for her, because she's probably not going to carry either one.

I have a very hard time believing that.  You don't see the Hillary bumper stickers or yard signs like there were for Obama in 2008.  You do see a lot of Trump signs/bumper stickers though.  It's even to the point where Trump yard and business signs are constantly being either stolen or vandalized (by the "tolerant and inclusive party").

I would say that this will either be a very close election, or Trump wins in a landslide.

By the end of Tuesday, over 120,000,000 votes will be cast for the presidential election.  Do you really think that seeing 25 Trump yard signs makes a difference?
Quote:Sorry guys, but Trump is going to lose bigly.

What evidence suggests that?

All I'm saying is that it's all going to depend on voter turnout.  The enthusiasm isn't there for Hillary at all like it was in 2008 for Obama.  Yet at the same time, the enthusiasm for Trump seems to be there this election.

To be honest, I do know several people from both sides of the political aisle that are not voting for either candidate.
I'll fully agree with the statement that Donald fans are more passionate than Hillary fans.

But an enthusiastic vote counts just as much as a resigned one.  The angry 10% that fill Donald's rallies are likely to be very disappointed tomorrow when Hillary takes it.

In truth, I will be too.  But not nearly as disappointed as if he wins.

I see a big difference in my neighborhood.

Usually, there are signs of all kinds - up and down the ballot.

This year there's exactly one sign, and it's for Trump.

That's what I mean by "silent" Trump support.  I know that by tomorrow, dozens on dozens in my neighborhood will have voted Trump.  Not because of what they're saying or advertising, but because I know them.  Like me, they aren't discussing the election with co-workers and family as we have in the past.  (Here is the only place I've discussed it, or with very few close friends face to face.)  We aren't alone.  We're tired of the nonsense and the people who simply cannot discuss politics without it getting into nasty insults and fake care about fake issues.  The core values are vacant in those who can't see the steady erosion happening to our economic and government foundations.  They're stuck on the divisive politics that prevent us from addressing what's most important to the nation's health.  But what's most dangerous is that they feel the most important issues are "fine" now, or some "new normal" of lowered standards.

The economy, security, and unsustainable government spending/debt is going to destroy this country.  But the left can't even identify the correct problems to solve, they most certainly won't be leading us in the right direction.  The "problems" they do attempt to "fix" only makes those things worse (healthcare, poverty.)  It's past time we act like adults and fix the things most important to our sovereignty.  You and your fellow people deserve that, not our insulated career politicians and their parties.
If Hillary wins, I'll crack open a Mexican beer and raise it to the TV screen.

If Donald wins, I'll crack open 2 Mexican beers.  Maybe 3, and wait a month to check on that 401k that's been nosediving since Comey's first letter.

Just wait until the pre-election economic reports are revised down yet again next month, regardless of who wins.

I'm thrilled. Thrilled it's about over. No more piss tv ads. No more bull piss about emails, grabbing broads by the [BLEEP], no more vitriol, no more bull piss promises neither will or can keep.

We survived the Clinton years. The Bush/Cheney years. The Obama , omg, we are going socialist ,with all of our guns being confiscated years....and we'll get through this. Somehow.

One thing I think we mostly agree on...DC is our armpit. Two parties that don't get along and keep on with childish one upmanship. [BLEEP] holes who have life time pensions and healthcare. The majority who come out wealthy. Etc etc etc

And our dumb [BLEEP] think they give a [BLEEP] about us.

And no...I don't think Trump would fix it. I'm glad he opened some eyes, but his divisiveness, particularly within his own party, would make the next four years a bigger cluster piss than the last 8.

With any luck a viable third party candidate emerges in the near future.

Quote:In case you guys are holding out hope. this is the updated electoral map from Fox. Even without Florida, New Hampshire or North Carolina she is above 270. If she wins Florida or North Carolina, it's going to be an early call.

Good...hope she blows him out.

Hillary don't do that.

Florida is right there, ready to be taken.
Quote:Yeah, it's closer than what these "forecasts" were showing all over the media a few weeks ago.

I did see on NBC Sunday that Florida was practically the most important state in the electoral college for TRUMP. THEY had all the states added up for expected winners. (I know, NBC, so take this for what it's worth).

They conceded Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, and even Iowa to Trump. But, still showed that without Florida, Trump could not reach the 270 needed for victory.

It's VERY important for those of you in Florida to vote. It is a very critical, maybe the MOST critical state in this election.

Come on Jacksonville vote for Trump

Monica got this.
Small note of irony -

Henry Hudson highway runs down the west side of Manhattan right next to the Hudson River, and at least one part of the cleanup is adopted by none other than...

Donald J. Trump.  If Hillary set off her fireworks, chances are Donald would have to pay a guy to clean up the mess.  At the very least, the fireworks would be going off in Donald's back yard.

As much as I dislike him, that's just wrong.

Look at 538, and most other models. Sure some polls might be slanted Democratic, but guess what, the electorate also tends to be more Democratic.
The polls did the same thing for Romney on election morning. Unfortunately, his goose was cooked by 9:00pm Eastern.

Trump's racist goose is already cooked.
I think a ton of the voters on the fence will end up voting for Hilary.
